Noel Elgut, M.D. has been practicing for 31 years and specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract surgery. He is a member of both the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He also holds a lifetime certification in ophthalmology, in addition to serving as President for South Florida Regional Eye Associates, LLC where he oversees multiple offices in Florida.

Dr. Elgut started his education at Rutgers University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He later earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and went on to complete an ophthalmology residency at Temple University Hospital, where he notably earned the role of chief resident. He also completed a separate internship in internal medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey’s Cooper University Hospital, giving him a truly well-rounded medical background.

Dr. Elgut has lived in Florida for three decades with his wife, Kathy. Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling, watching sports and spending time with his three children and grandsons, Lincoln and Shepherd.
