Rehan Ahmed, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the President of Texas Eye and Vision Associates, P.A. where he oversees multiple offices in Texas. In private practice, Dr. Ahmed is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with a focus on anterior segment disease and surgery.

Dr. Ahmed completed his undergraduate degree in philosophy at the University of Illinois, Chicago on a full merit scholarship. He earned his medical degree at the Vanderbilt School of Medicine and subsequently completed his internship at the University of Texas, Houston and residency in ophthalmology at the Baylor College of Medicine, Houston.

A testament to his talents, Dr. Ahmed has been awarded the Barry M. Goldwater Award, the Donald M. Gass Award and a grant from the National Eye Institute for his research in eye diseases. He is active in the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Texas Ophthalmology Association and Harris County Medical Society. When he is not working, Dr. Ahmed enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
